Artist's Statement

Furniture by DeGarmo is a design/build studio owned by TiAnna DeGarmo. TiAnna creates one of a kind, heirloom quality furniture made to inspire a better everyday life. Her work is a creative blend of Asian and Scandinavian design. TiAnna strives to create furniture and home décor that is beautiful to behold and pleasurable to handle while being simple, clean, and useful. She creates sculptural yet functional works of art. *PLEASE NOTE* The photos I submitted were of the original lamp I designed and built. The sketch I submitted is of the current, and revised build. The design was changed due to that I was not happy with various aspects of the original build. Please keep that in mind as you review my submission.
