Design is the delicate balance between the technical and the artistic, too technical and it becomes engineering, ignore the user however, and it becomes art. My work takes inspiration from modern and contemporary architecture. Focusing on the elements that provide energy and tension, while maintaining visual hierarchy and the contrast within positive and negative space. I balance these formal elements by maintaining an absolute focus on the human relationship with a piece, and emphasize its human interactions.
